What Is Kitting? How Is It Different From Assembly?
Kitting is the process of grouping two or more products into a single bundled unit — the way individual items become one subscription box, gift set, or promotional bundle. Assembly is a related but distinct service: it's what happens when your finished product is made of parts that arrive at our facility from two or more suppliers, and our team puts them together into the finished unit before it ships. Most of what people call "kitting" on a 3PL page actually covers both: at eFulfillment Service, our kitting team builds custom kits to your specification, whether that means bundling finished products or assembling component parts into one.

EFS's kitting team handles both.
Is there a minimum order for kitting services?
No. eFulfillment Service has no minimum order requirements and no set-up fees for kitting — pricing is pay-as-you-go, whether you need one hundred kits a month or several thousand.
Can you use my own packaging for kits?
In many cases, yes. We stock more than 20 blank, unbranded box and mailer sizes so your packaging is entirely your brand's, but if you already have your own packaging, contact your sales representative to discuss your specific needs.
